Jesus
Nebot, founder and CEO of Zokalo Entertainment and Love
Empowerment Seminars is an award winning filmmaker as well
as a renown inspirational speaker and transformational trainer
who has lectured in over 30 American states and 10 additional
countries around the world for educational, cultural, non-profit,
business and civic organizations. His mission is to inspire
personal and social healing and transformation through his
speaking engagements, training seminars and artistic endeavors,
including writing, producing, directing and acting.
Mr. Nebot's
first production was the critically acclaimed feature "NO
TURNING BACK" picked up for distribution by Universal
after its successful theatrical release in Europe and in the
United States. The film, which has been sold to 92 countries
and is commonly compared with the Oscar winner CRASH, has
already set a record by winning 21 INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
AWARDS, 17 OF THEM FOR BEST FEATURE, including the 2004 INTERNATIONAL
HOLLYWOOD SPIRITUAL FILM FESTIVAL and the ALMA AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING
INDEPENDENT MOTION PICTURE, the most prestigious award for
any Latino production shot in the United States. Demonstrating
the versatility of his talent, Nebot co-wrote, co-directed,
produced and starred in the film. His touching performance
as Pablo has been praised by film critics and granted him
several nominations and awards for BEST LEAD ACTOR. NO TURNING
BACK is an immigration tale that brings to our awareness the
importance of embracing diversity and our common humanity.
Due to its powerful message it is becoming one of the most
sought after films in the educational market.
Jesus
has several projects in development and is currently producing
and hosting LOVE VISIONARIES. This groundbreaking cable talk
show brings in expert guests to explore the frontiers of Consciousness
and the healing power of Love in our lives, in our communities
and in the world.
Mr. Nebot's
passion for Peace, Consciousness and Social Justice lead him
to create a series of transformational seminars on leadership,
communication, diversity and spirituality that have touched
the lives of over ten thousand people in the past 4 years.
He has been invited to speak at numerous venues, including
the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity, the largest
and most prestigious conference of its kind.
In 2006, after furthering his leadership training and spiritual
growth, Jesus launched Love Empowerment, a unique personal
development seminar that blends Ancient Wisdom from the East
and New Thought and Technology from the West to help people
unveil their full potential. Mr. Nebot is currently working
on a new book to be released in 2007 entitled "Love Empowerment:
Let who you are manifest all you want"
After
receiving his B. A. degree with honors from the Royal Academy
of Dramatic Arts in Madrid, Jesus completed his training at
the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York on scholarship
from the Spanish Government. He then became internationally
known for his starring roles in the top-rated television series',
"LA LOBA HERIDA" and "DIVINA OBSESION,"
distributed by Warner Brothers International in 29 countries.
Nebot's recent television credits include guest-starring roles
in the Fox EMMY WINNING SERIES' "NYPD BLUE," and
"ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT
Among
his many accolades Nebot has been the recipient of the Aguila
Azteca PERFORMING ARTS TRIBUTE AWARD, the Latinos in Hollywood
STAR FILMMAKER AWARD, the Nosotros OUTSTANDING INDEPENDENT
FILMMAKER GOLDEN EAGLE AWARD and The Southern California Motion
