Synopsis
And Trailer Of A New
Spiritual Understanding Of Love
As you can see
in the trailer, the award-winning movie, No
Turning Back, is a suspense-drama based on actual events.
If you've seen the Oscar-winning movie, Crash, you will want to see
No Turning Back.
As a matter of fact, both movies deal with the issues of racial prejudice,
empathy, tolerance and sympathy towards whites, blacks, Latinos, Koreans,
Iranians, cops and criminals, the rich and the poor, immigrants and
residents, the powerful and powerless.
Most important, all
the people involved behind the scenes with No
Turning Back cherish the ideas of love and peace throughout
the world.
For Pablo Fernandez, the main character in the movie, there's only one
thing more precious than life itself
his daughter, Cristina. Having
lost his wife and home to a hurricane in Honduras, Pablo illegally
immigrates to the United States in an attempt to offer a
better future to his five-year-old daughter Cristina.
Things are going surprisingly well: Cristina is in grammar school and
Pablo works regularly as a field hand. But on his way to celebrate Cristina's
birthday, Pablo, trying to avoid a dog, accidentally hits a little girl
with his employer's truck.
Scared and desperate, without any legal papers, Pablo flees to ensure
Cristina doesn't become another victim of his tragic destiny... Father
and daughter must alter their appearances and go undercover to escape
a police manhunt that intensifies when the injured girl dies. A mysterious,
story-hungry journalist, Soid, manages to follow them and strikes a
deal. She will drive them to Mexico, only if she can video-tape their
heart-wrenching struggle. Nearing the border, Pablo realizes he can't
give up his dream of a better life for Cristina
they'll go to
Canada!
